Technical Information Magazine 201901-01 Analysis and Evaluation Technology of Ga2O3 Films

The technical information magazine The TRC News provides the latest information on analytical techniques that are useful for research and development, solving production troubles, and quality control.

**Abstract** Gallium oxide (Ga2O3), which has a larger bandgap than SiC and GaN, is gaining attention as a new power device material. With the development of thin film growth technologies for device applications, the importance of analysis and evaluation techniques for Ga2O3 thin films is expected to increase. This paper introduces cases of crystal structure analysis of Ga2O3 films fabricated on sapphire substrates, as well as the evaluation of impurities and defects. **Table of Contents** 1. Introduction 2. Samples 3. Analysis Results 4. Conclusion

[Technical Recruitment] Technology to evaluate the effects of drugs on the muscle fibers around the anus.

We are seeking an animal model to evaluate the effects of drugs on the muscle fibers around the anus.

In the treatment of hemorrhoids (hemorrhoidal disease), it is necessary not only to suppress inflammation but also to repair the disruption of smooth muscle fibers in the anal cushions. However, most existing disease models replicate inflammation. On the other hand, in recent years, research on the regeneration and repair of muscle fibers has been actively conducted. Therefore, we decided to seek an animal model that can evaluate the effects of drugs on the muscle fibers around the anus, targeting researchers with deep insights into these areas. [Desired Techniques (Partial)] ■ Ability to evaluate the effects of drugs on the muscle fibers around the anus in vivo - Rats are preferred, but mice, guinea pigs, or rabbits are also acceptable - Drugs can be administered orally and intravenously ■ It is desirable if an evaluation system is already established, but having specific ideas (that can be pursued) regarding the evaluation system is also acceptable *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Wafer bevel evaluation technology

Established a method for high-precision component evaluation using sensitivity and quantification-focused SIMS (D-SIMS)!

The component evaluation of the wafer bevel area is generally conducted using TEM or TOF-SIMS; however, both of these methods have limitations in sensitivity and quantification, making it difficult to evaluate trace components. By using a newly developed dedicated fixture, we have established a method for high-precision component evaluation using sensitivity- and quantification-focused SIMS (D-SIMS). Please feel free to contact us when needed. 【Technical Overview】 ■ Fixed with a dedicated fixture to prevent positional shifts of samples in an unstable tilted state and to reduce detection stability issues. ■ Measurement positions can be selected with high precision and flexibility. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

A technology that automatically quantifies and evaluates the quality of images.

Keywords: abnormal sound, normal sound, deep learning, signal processing, statistical signal processing, audio processing, image processing, communication systems, noise countermeasures, quality assessment

In our society, digital images are used in various places. There are many types, but now it has become possible to automatically evaluate the quality of each image simply by inputting the image itself. This is the technology called Image Quality Assessment (IQA). Until now, the quality of an image could not be evaluated without the original reference image, because the machine needed to know what the best image quality was. However, now machines can learn. When they demonstrate their learning ability, the quality of a degraded image can be quantified and output simply by inputting the degraded image. This numerical value is almost the same as the values evaluated by up to 1,000 people. Reference images are no longer necessary. This IQA technology can also be used to search for similar images. If processing speeds up, it could be implemented in various systems.
